about Doc movie gallery
|
Doc Mo Shé was born in a recording studio in Marina Del Rey, CA several years ago. Destined for a career in music he learned from the engineer a thing or two about recording. Although his parents highly suggested a solid career as a doctor, he pursued his dream to express through poetry, and rap music. He absorbed his Jewish heritage and combined his love for hip hop and created a style called Yinglish Rap (Yiddish/English). Doc first release was Hanukkah Homeboy on cassette in 1991. The music video was shot in 1992 and released on VHS in time for Hanukkah. It was seen on HBO, MTV, E! TV, Showtime and even ABC news (see the home page Youtube clip). Doc continued to record and wrote the script for the film "Doc Mo Shé & The Heavy G Force". The film was shot in 1996 but was unfortunately not completed. He hopes to complete the film with the help of Youtubers in a contest where they film their version of missing scenes. The CD "21st Century Schmendrik Boy" was first released on the now defunct Mp3.com in 1997. Hanukkah Homeboy was picked up by fellow DMS&THGF cast mate, Dr. Demento, for his "Holidays in Dementia" CD Doc is proud to re-release the music on iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody. He lives in a recording studio in West Los Angeles with his wife and kids.
